Big Time Rebates on the Least Expensive New Cars
Katie Harris
As if you needed any more reason to choose the most budget friendly, least expensive new cars for sale, there are some really great cash back rebates and incentives available on the 2012 Nissan Versa and the 2012 Ford Fiesta.
Until October 1st of this year, you can get up to $1000 back when you finance with their respective finance companies on these two cars. When you compare that kind of rebate to their already low starting price, it is clear this is one of the best car financing deals for this fall. Make sure you contact your local dealer to find out what exactly you qualify for.
The 2012 Nissan Versa, which starts at just $10,990 for the sedan S trim, could actually be priced under $10000 with these rebates, which puts it in a league of its own for affordable new cars. This price is so low, it rivals our average used car, but you still get all the benefits of a new car.
The sedan S trim of the Versa gets you a 1.6L 4-cyl engine that produces 109 horsepower and 107 lbs-ft of torque. It comes standard with a manual transmission, and it boasts fuel economy numbers of 27 city / 36 hwy mpg. The Versa is also surprisingly roomy for a subcompact, and has an especially large back seat for its class.
The 2012 Ford Fiesta is another one of the cheapest new cars for sale. The S trim of the Fiesta starts at $13,200, and with the rebates could be knocked down to $12,200. The Fiesta is one of the most sporty and fun to drive cars in this class.
The S trim comes with a 1.6L 4-cyl engine that produces 120 horsepower and 112 lbs-ft of torque, which is near the top of this class. The standard manual transmission gives the Fiesta 29 city / 38 hwy mpg.
Both of these cars were already pretty good deals, but these extra September incentives and rebates make them even better.
