Options When Buying a New Car
Eric Wills
If predictions are correct many people are currently, and going to be, looking for a new car this year. Some may question if they want to lease a new car or buy a car, and while you are faced with these options whenever you want to get a car it is a good thing to think ahead before deciding.
When you lease a car you never truly own the vehicle, you're terms will normally be a two year contract with a limited amount of miles on them. You can buy extra miles at the beginning of the terms to make sure you don't go over this amount. This is very important factor when deciding between leasing a new car or buying one.
When you lease it, like all things in life, has it's perks and it's downside and one of the downsides was already discussed. You don't ever really own the vehicle, you will be turning the vehicle over, or get the option to buy it, at the end of your terms. The biggest thing to watch out for is the mileage.
Looking to Buy or Lease a New CarWith car shopping it is all about personal preference and need. If you don't think you'll go over the allotted mileage given then leasing is probably the better option. The great thing about a leased vehicle is in 2-3 years from your leasing date you'll be able to get another car.
However when you just buy the car you'll own the car in 48 - 72 months. Depending on your loan terms and agreements you can completely negate a car payment in a few more years than if you were to lease the vehicle.
This can be a great incentive for buying the car when looking at the numbers on it. However some may not be able to afford the higher car payment, or they know they won't go over the miles and want a different car every few years. You will definitely have a higher car payment should you decide on buying a new vehicle.
As with your options you always have plenty available, so choosing the right vehicle with the right terms is what you should focus on. Utilizing AutoLiquidator to that end will help you expedite your car buying process.
