Really Cheap Cars

Getting your money's worth

People are beginning to keep their new cars for longer than they did in the past, due partially to the state of the economy. People are looking for really cheap cars for sale, and when it comes time to get rid of the old one, they want to get more for their resale. Not all cars are resold equally, and there are definitely some really cheap cars that stand out among the pack.

Best resellers

The most inexpensive car deals are on the subcompact small cars, and among them the 2012 Nissan Versa is the most affordable. Not only is it the cheapest car on the market, it also retains a lot of its resale value. After five short years, the Versa is expected to be worth over 40% of its original value.

It almost goes without saying at this point, but the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord are always good choices. Both retain about half their resale value in the first couple years, and after half a decade they both have over a third of their original value. These cars offer two of the most practical, reliable and affordable vehicles that money can buy.

They aren't the only vehicles that perennially resell well however. The Jeep Wrangler is an excellent vehicle at retaining its value, and after five years many experts project the Wrangler to be worth over half its original value.

As you might expect, the Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks also resell very well. It seems to be a running trend for car makers that have a reputation for making reliable, long lasting cars. If you want to find these cars, new or used, the best way to find them would be with a car search engine.

Getting a low price on the sticker tag just isn't enough for car buyers looking to save money. They also need to save more money at the pump and they need to sell for as much as possible when it comes time to trade up.
