With the economy still tight and drivers looking to save money, many are turning to used cars as a possible solutions. To help buyers make their decisions a little bit easier, Cars.com recently reviewed 10 of the best cars for under $10,000 – all vehicles that have some nice features without breaking the bank.
Ford and Hyundai seemed to dominate the list. Both companies' flagship sedans were selected – the Hyundai Sonata and Ford Fusion. These are both excellent sedans with great features and great gas mileage. According to the news source, 2006 is the best year to go for, although some before that will do as well.
Of course, there were some choices from other companies as well. The Toyota Corolla isn't the "snazziest" of rides, the news source admits, but its great gas mileage and excellent reliability make it a smart choice regardless. The Honda Accord also made the list. As a perennial best-seller, this model carries the clout of strong resale value as well.
