Of all the 2013 cars coming out and hitting dealerships this fall, there are a few that have us more excited than the rest.

Some are new supercars making their return, others are just fresh new looks at an already existing car, either way these are fun cars to look forward to.

With the auto industry getting so competitive, many car manufacturers are taking bigger risks with their designs and many of them are paying off well for them.

Here are some of the most exciting 2013 cars:

2013 Ford Escape

Right behind midsize family sedans, no other car segment sells as many vehicles as the crossover SUVs. The Ford Escape has always been one of the best selling vehicles in the class, and the redesign for 2013 will make it even more attractive for car buyers.

Their EcoBoost engines are being improved and will likely give the 2013 Ford Escape best in class gas mileage. Reviewers have commonly referred to the Escape as a taller Focus, saying it has fantastic car-like handling. It is also going to provide more interior room than the previous model.

2013 Ram 1500

The Ram 1500 has constantly been in third place for sales of full size trucks, but in terms of quality, the refresh for the 2013 model year might push it to the front of the pack. This new Ram will get a new 3.6L v6 engine and a new eight speed transmission. It will also get even more improvements to its already industry leading interior.

2013 SRT Viper

So it might not be the most frugal car for sale in 2013, but it’s pretty hard to not be excited about the return of the Viper. Sporting a new name, new look and new drive train, this beast of a supercar comes with a monster 8.4L v10 engine that turns out 640 horsepower and 600 lbs-ft of torque. Count your lucky stars if you get to get behind the wheel of one of these iconic supercars.
